In this ted talk he says that he deals with brains of a dead psychopathic killers. When he gets the brains he does not know they are psycho killers just by looking at them. He goes further in to the brain.
Just like Adnan, you look at him and you can not tell he is a killer. You have to dig further in to tell that he is psycho, you have to see his childhood, how he was and is being raised. He may say he did not do it but he is messed up in the head and he does not get that he did something wrong. He killed Hae Lee. This was his girlfriend and he got mad at her and in result he killed her. That is crazy. His story kept changing and he was doing some very weird things to cover things up.
